Omaha Police are on scene of a barricade situation at a residence near 38th and Fort St. The incident started as a shoplifting at Von Maur. Officers attempted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle near 102nd and Blondo.
Officers are in the area of 5200 N 38th St for an active investigation

6 day agoOPD is investigating a shooting that occurred near the Walgreens at 9021 W Center Road. A male driver was shot in the arm while driving and transported code 3 trauma to Bergan by M52. A separate caller at the goodwill at 84th and center stated he was shot at while driving

1 week agoOmaha Police located a black 2002 Tahoe that fled from officers two days ago. Officers attempted a stop near 42nd and Woolworth and the vehicle fled again. ABLE-1 was overhead and tracked the vehicle until it wrecked out near 60th and Ames.

Omaha Fire was called to the area of 72nd and Cedar Street. Caller stated his family member was in a tent in the area and was not breathing. Medics attempted resuscitation efforts but were not successful and the male was declared deceased
Cutting: 3511 S 84th. Motel 6. Female on the second floor has been stabbed. Incident started in Northwest but officers couldn't locate the white truck the victim was in. She was dropped off here.
