1 year agoOmaha Police are investigating a body found in a car near the off ramp on I-680 and 72nd. They say a city worker saw tire marks and damage to a tree when driving by. The city worker found the car and called police. Officers haven't identified who the person in the car is

1 year agoAround 7 a.m., OPD was called to a possible home invasion at 9927 Essex Drive with shots fired. Upon arrival, police requested OFD for a possible party down from gunshots. That party was declared deceased by OFD. Officers found casings inside the house and the front door was shot

After nearly 1.5 hours, the victim has been located under a grate near 4th and Leavenworth. He is sitting up, alert and answering OFD personnel with correct answers. Crews will cut the grate to remove the victim. Medical will check him.Rope Rescue: 19th and HowardnTwo parties swept into a man hole.
