1 year agoAround 7 a.m., OPD was called to a possible home invasion at 9927 Essex Drive with shots fired. Upon arrival, police requested OFD for a possible party down from gunshots. That party was declared deceased by OFD. Officers found casings inside the house and the front door was shot
1 year ago.@OmahaPolice need assistance locating Matthew Briggs, 42, in a felony domestic violence incident and is a person of interest in a homicide investigation. He is white, 5; 11, approximately 260 lbs with brown eyes, brown/white hair with goatee beard.
Injury Accident: 17th and Sprague Authority Police. Pedestrian versus auto. Police were in a foot pursuit and suspect was hit by a car.
After nearly 1.5 hours, the victim has been located under a grate near 4th and Leavenworth. He is sitting up, alert and answering OFD personnel with correct answers. Crews will cut the grate to remove the victim. Medical will check him.Rope Rescue: 19th and HowardnTwo parties swept into a man hole.
