1 month agoOmaha Police have announced the arrest of Davon Barnes in the June 29th fatal hit and run crash near 24th and Decatur Street. He was booked into DCC and charged with one count of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident resulting in serious injury / death.
Omaha Police are investigating an early morning homicide after officers located a male party, Nicholas Gomez, deceased inside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound. One person was taken into custody
Omaha Police, NSP, ABLE-1 and Omaha Fire are all at 40th and King after a second pursuit this morning. A dirt bike was the vehicle of choice in this one. The 40-year-old suspect was taken into custody after a nearly 30 minute pursuit around northern Omaha.
Officers attempted to apprehend a wanted felony suspect near 30th and Newport Avenue but he took off from officers on his bicycle. ABLE-1 joined in and was able to call out his location and officers took him into custody fairly quickly near the Family Dollar
