Omaha Police are investigating an early morning homicide after officers located a male party, Nicholas Gomez, deceased inside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound. One person was taken into custody
Omaha Police, NSP, ABLE-1 and Omaha Fire are all at 40th and King after a second pursuit this morning. A dirt bike was the vehicle of choice in this one. The 40-year-old suspect was taken into custody after a nearly 30 minute pursuit around northern Omaha.
Officers attempted to apprehend a wanted felony suspect near 30th and Newport Avenue but he took off from officers on his bicycle. ABLE-1 joined in and was able to call out his location and officers took him into custody fairly quickly near the Family Dollar

2 month ago.@OmahaPolice are investigating a bank robbery at US Bank near 89th and Maple Street. When officers arrived, they located multiple bank employees immobilized with zip ties. The suspects demanded money at gunpoint, stole a car and fled the scene.
Around 12:29 a.m., Omaha Police and Omaha Fire were called to 27th and Camden Avenue for the report of a cutting. It’s alleged that one sister cut another sister. The victim did not get transported by OFD. OPD will handle the scene

Omaha Fire and Omaha Police responded to a female that was struck by a vehicle. She was transported Code 99 Trauma to Nebraska Medicine with extremely critical injuries. This was the second incident in the early morning hours that left a person with extremely critical injuries.
